National Careers in Trades Week Wins a W3 Award

SMACNA, SMART and the ITI’s effort to encourage young people to join our industry wins a gold award in the Social Campaigns-Educational & Instructional category.

National Careers in Trades Week has been recognized with a Gold W3 Award. SMACNA partnered with SMART and the ITI to launch the first National Careers in Trades Week during the week of April 7-11, 2025. This initiative aims to encourage young people to pursue careers in the skilled trades. National Careers in Trades Week will return in 2026 with additional support from organizations such as MCAA, NECA, and SMOHIT.

Since 2005, the W3 Awards has celebrated excellence in digital content, design, and experiences, honoring everyone from global giants to independent creators who set trends, break boundaries, and shape the digital landscape.
