New Study from New Horizons Foundation and Colorado State University

Effort looks to address the Project-Level Cash Flow challenges that exist in our industry – specifically for sheet metal and mechanical contractors.

This year, the New Horizons Foundation and Colorado State University are teaming up to address the Project-Level Cash Flow challenges that exist in our industry – specifically for sheet metal and mechanical contractors. The nature of our work, our contracts, and our internal procedures all impact cash flows – and this significant issue causes profit margin erosion and high levels of failures each year.

They are reaching out to industry experts to better understand the challenges related to project-level cash flow, as well as the managerial strategies and solutions used to address them. Perspectives from across the organization are welcome - including executives, project managers, controllers, and project accountants. Participation from all regions and from companies of all sizes - large, mid-sized, and small - is essential.

The goal of this effort is to use the data collected to design a specific, in-person training curriculum that can be used to strengthen the knowledge, skills, and abilities of your project managers.
