Tools provided by CPWR and SMOHIT aim to help teammates look after each other when facing a mental health crisis.
As SMACNA continues to participate in Suicide Prevention Month, we continue to offer resources that can help workplaces protect their teammates in the event of a mental health crisis.
One toolbox talk is provided by the Center for Construction Research and Training (CPWR) and talks about some of the warning signs that a coworker might be displaying and how to act in a supportive manner to help them out.
The other resource is provided by SMOHIT and is meant to help teammates be active listeners for coworkers when they need support during a challenging period.
Please continue to share these resources with coworkers!
