Toolbox Talk: Supporting Mental Health in the Workplace

Learn more about how you can help workers who are experiencing symptoms of anxiety and depressive disorders through compassion and supportive leadership.

BE4ALL is releasing a Toolbox Talk aimed at helping supervisors identify and assist employees encountering a mental health crisis. An expanding number of individuals are reporting that they are experiencing symptoms of anxiety and depressive disorders. It is more critical than ever that leaders work with their teams to address these challenges by building a robust support structure and compassionate leadership at the workplace.

Based on guidance from OSHA, this toolbox talk not only outlines steps that you can take to build a workplace that helps teammates when they are struggling with mental illness but also identifies some of the signs and symptoms of mental distress along with providing practical next steps for all workers.
