Several contractors co-host golf outing for the Cleveland-area US Representative Brown, one of SMACNA’s strongest allies on the Hill.
Several SMACNA Contractors attended a recent golf outing fundraiser for Rep. Shontel Brown (D-OH). The Cleveland-area legislator is one of the strongest advocates for SMACNA on Capitol Hill and their skilled trades workforce. Ms. Brown currently serves on the Committee for Agriculture and the Committee on Oversight and Reform. Congresswoman Brown has built strong and supportive relationships with SMACNA leaders throughout her time in public service, including with incoming SMACNA President Tom Martin. Her outstanding record in Congress includes supporting the infrastructure act, CHIPS and Science Act, Inflation Reduction Act, Davis-Bacon and PLAs on federal construction projects.
