SMACPAC Holds Fundraiser for Rep. Matt Cartwright

Pennsylvania Democratic Member of Congress has been a long-time industry champion on issues such as school construction, Davis-Bacon and PLA reforms.

SMACPAC hosted a fundraising event near the U.S. House Of Representatives for long-time industry champion Matt Cartwright (D-PA). SMACNA has long lauded the Congressman’s efforts to pass school construction, Davis-Bacon, and PLA reforms, as well as his support for the Infrastructure Act, CHIPS and Science Act, and the IRA energy efficiency tax incentives. Further, Cartwright has helped block numerous attempts in the House Appropriations Committee to repeal prevailing wage, registered apprenticeship, and related regulations.
