ITI Releases Intermediate Level Revit Courses for Sheet Metal Workers

200 level courses will cover topics such as family creation within Revit, creating and managing project templates, and leveraging the basic Fabrication functionality.

The International Training Institute (ITI) is rolling out the 200 series (intermediate level) self-paced online courses of their "REVIT for Sheet Metal Workers" series at https://www.sheetmetal-iti.org/ProductivityNOW.

Some of the topics in the coursework are:

  • The fundamentals of family creation within Revit
  • Creating more complex and different categories of Revit families
  • Creating and managing a project template inside Revit
  • Setting up a project file
  • Exploring the basic Fabrication functionality inside Revit

The ITI also offers a Distance Learning pilot class called "Revit for Sheet Metal Workers -200 series (intermediate)", scheduled to start June 3. There are still some seats available. This pilot class is available to any SMART members and can be accessed at https://www.sheetmetal-iti.org/course-catalog.
