Meet Laurie Greene

Learn more about SMACNA’s new Director of Membership and Chapter Relations

Laurie Greene is the Director of Membership and Chapter Relations at SMACNA. With nearly 25 years of strategic leadership experience, Ms. Greene worked for 16 years at a $30 billion nonprofit organization with 1,000 member organizations. Her expertise includes every aspect of the member lifecycle—from prospect identification and onboarding to engagement, satisfaction, and renewals. Her data-driven approach to member retention and value has consistently enhanced organizational growth and member satisfaction. Laurie earned a Bachelor of Science in Communications from James Madison University.

Although a native of Northern Virginia, Laurie and her family lived in Northern California for five years before returning to Virginia in 2023. She has two daughters and is a diehard football fan. She enjoys Pilates, traveling, and hiking with her dog, Marley.
