The New Horizons Foundation Seeks Member Input for Prefab and Productivity Project

Help us understand how HVAC and Sheet Metal Contractors have changed their processes, technologies, and design efforts to enhance the impact of prefabrication.

The New Horizons Foundation has launched a project on Prefabrication and Productivity. This project aims to analyze how HVAC and Sheet Metal Contractors have modified their processes, technologies, and design efforts to enhance the impact of prefabrication on the productivity of their field and office personnel, to understand how they measure the effectiveness of these efforts.

To accomplish this, the SMACNA member task force is looking for your help by participating in a short survey on:

  • State of Prefab in Your Firm
  • BIM/VDC Management & Standards
  • Prefabrication and Work Package Creation
  • Shop Production Processes

Please take a moment to click here and take our survey, and we appreciate your assistance in this project!
