As we get closer to the biggest event in the SMACNA calendar in Maui, learn more about convention registration, housing, events, and more!
We are 11 weeks out from the SMACNA Annual Convention, and SMACNA is excited to provide updates as we move forward.
We have had a fantastic turnout and are officially sold out with a total of 1500 registered. Registration has been closed; however, if you are currently registered, you will still be able to sign into your account to make any changes or pay any unpaid balance.
1. Convention Registration:
Registration for the convention has closed. However, if you are a registered attendee, you will still be able to log in to your account and make changes as needed or pay any unpaid balances.
September 5th is the last day to cancel your registration without any fees.
2. Convention Housing:
The room blocks at both contracted hotels—the Grand Wailea and the Wailea Beach Resort (Marriott)—are currently sold out. The Grand Wailea does have rooms available at the regular rate. If you are interested in staying there, you can book online and pay the regular hotel rate. You can email Tara Long to be added to the waitlist to be moved at the contracted rate. If we are unable to move you to a contracted rate room, you will have the option to cancel without penalty 14 days prior. We continue to work through the waitlist for the hotels as cancellations come through. If you're looking for nearby alternatives within walking distance, we recommend:
3. Convention Schedule:
A preliminary schedule is now available on the SMACNA website. Please feel free to review it for education sessions and social events.
4. Mobile App
The Mobile App will be available soon. You will receive an email with more information when it becomes available.
5. Monday Night
Anyone under 21 will not be able to attend the after-party event.
6. Closing Night Dinner and Event
We will be hosting our closing night dinner outside in the Molokini Garden and then moving inside the ballroom for our evening entertainment. Anyone under the age of 21 will be unable to attend the evening entertainment due to Maui's requirements and licensing. We will be offering a space for anyone under 21 to attend, which will include snacks, drinks, and activities. If you are interested in having your children attend, please Click Here. There will be no additional cost.
Please reach out to Tara Long, SMACNA’s Executive Director of Meetings and Convention, with any questions.
