Take A Look At SMACNA’s New Website Chatbot

New tool will help members quickly find information, access resources, and navigate SMACNA programs.

SMACNA is introducing a new website chatbot to help members and visitors quickly find information, access resources, and navigate SMACNA programs. This tool supports improved communication, accessibility, and service across our digital platforms.

What the Chatbot Can Do
The chatbot is an intelligent on-demand assistant available on the SMACNA website. Users can ask about:

  • Membership information and benefits
  • Events, conferences, and training opportunities
  • Technical resources and publications
  • Committee information and program contacts
  • General inquiries about SMACNA services

Users type a question and receive guided responses, helpful links, and next steps, without having to search multiple pages.

Designed to Support Members and Staff
The chatbot is built to help both experienced members and first-time visitors quickly locate the information they need. Contractors, chapter staff, and industry partners can benefit from faster access to frequently requested information, such as:

  • Program deadlines
  • Registration links
  • Policy and procedural guidance
  • Contact information for specific departments or chapters

By streamlining routine questions, the chatbot lets SMACNA staff spend more time on strategic and member-focused services.

How to Use the Chatbot
Using the chatbot is simple:

  1. Visit the SMACNA website.
  2. Look for the chatbot icon in the lower corner of the screen.
  3. Click to open the chat window.
  4. Type your question and begin the conversation.

The system provides relevant information or directs users to additional resources as needed.

Part of SMACNA’s Digital Growth Strategy
With the chatbot, SMACNA commits to improving member experience through technology. As it learns from common questions and feedback, future updates will make responses more accurate and personalized.
