Women In Construction Summit – Register Today!

Session will discuss various topics, including psychological safety and how to identify and protect against challenges that prevent a safe and productive professional environment.

SMACNA's annual Women In Construction Summit Meeting is scheduled for September 27, 2024, at the Loews New Orleans Hotel in the art district of downtown New Orleans near the Riverfront. All SMACNA contractors, associate members, and chapter executives are invited to attend this annual event.

The program includes a workshop on "Psychological Safety – Building the Right Culture to Enable Organizational Greatness," presented by Stephane McShane, Director at Maxim Consulting Group.

Program Description: Every organization aspires to achieve greatness, which is deeply rooted in the engagement and performance of its employees. A critical factor that drives this engagement and performance is psychological safety. Psychological safety involves cultivating a culture where contributions are encouraged and valued, individuals feel comfortable seeking help or acknowledging mistakes, and ideas can be constructively challenged in the quest for continuous improvement. The benefits of psychological safety include heightened innovation, increased engagement, improved performance, and greater resilience.
