Supporting Your Well-being: Mental Health Resources for the Holiday Season

The Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) releases an annual holiday toolkit that has resources all in one place to help you help yourself, your family members and your co-workers through the holiday season and beyond.

The holidays can bring a mix of joyous and sad feelings, no matter who you are, and everything from songs and food to weather can trigger difficult emotions, thoughts or behaviors.

The Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) releases an annual holiday toolkit. This quick guide has resources all in one place to help you help yourself, your family members and your co-workers through the holiday season and beyond. These include flyers available for free download, so you can spread information on social media, through emails or on the walls of your training center, union hall, shop or jobsite. The holiday toolkit page also offers printable sheets of coping tips that make good handouts at union meetings and Toolbox Talks.
