SMACNA’s top legislative and political advocates are working hard to strengthen relationships and build momentum for our legislative priorities as the new Congressional leadership’s agenda gets fully underway.
Throughout early 2025, a key group of SMACNA and SMAC PAC ambassadors met with legislators at home, on Capitol Hill, and at various events throughout the country. These engagements are critical to educating both Hill champions and newly elected Members of Congress, especially considering the challenges and changing priorities resulting from the 2024 election. During their meetings with lawmakers, SMAC PAC ambassadors advocate and educate to build stronger relationships with legislators while also detailing industry priorities to Members of Congress and their staff.
