Stan Kolbe Joins Trade Press Web Panel to Address Key Contractor Provisions in New Tax and Spending Law and Its Industry Impact

ACHR News webinar featured HVAC policy thought leaders to help industry stakeholders better understand the impacts of this sweeping new law on the both the contracting industry and the key energy efficiency HVAC provisions.

Stan Kolbe, SMACNA’s Executive Director for Government and Political Affairs, was featured on a webinar held by ACHR News on August 21. The session featured several policy and tax experts from the industry, hosted by Kyle Gargaro, Editorial Director, and Associate Publisher of ACHR News, and Joe Parsons, a leading expert on HVAC heat pump technology and sustainability policy and Ean Robertson, VP for Membership and Advocacy for the Air Conditioning Contractors Association.

The industry group examined over an hour of discussions with a live audience question and answer period, just how the recently passed tax law will affect the HVAC industry markets, capital equipment investments and prospects for emerging projects. The panel also took a speculative look at the law’s probable impact on mega projects for the CHIPS, commercial retrofit, pharma, and residential HVAC service and sales areas, as well as other related market topics.
