As the organization continues to expand, this individual will take on several critical roles, including leading strategic expansion and outreach, recruiting new locations and partners, and scale operational capacity.

Since launching in 2021, HMSE has grown from a two-location pilot with just 28 participants into a dynamic, industry-backed non-profit delivering immersive, hands-on summer camps for high school students and recent graduates across the country. Each camp introduces young people to careers in the skilled trades—sheet metal, piping, plumbing, electrical—and equips them for high-paying, stable futures outside of the traditional college pathway.
HMSE has built a strong foundation—partnering with contractors, unions, and industry partners; leveraging locations coast-to-coast; and earning national recognition through features in Forbes, Good Morning America, CNN, and The Wall Street Journal. Now, it's time to take the next leap!
HMSE is now seeking its first full-time Executive Director.
