Immediately following the Council of Chapter Representatives Meeting, SMACNA will conduct a Local Joint Adjustment Board (LJAB) Training. This training provides essential guidance on conducting an LJAB hearing properly and equips chapters and contractor panelists with the knowledge and resources needed to navigate the process effectively. This free half-day program will show you how to:

  • Conduct a proper LJAB hearing
  • Handle common procedural objections
  • Maintain arbitrational immunity

You’ll also learn how to prepare for complex legal issues that often accompany grievances. Plus, you will leave knowing how to draft binding decisions. There is no charge for this program, so please inform your LJAB management members about this training opportunity and plan to attend. When you register for Council, please indicate if you would like to participate in this program.

Don't miss this chance to connect with fellow chapter representatives and shape the future of our industry.
