SMACNA Marketing & Communications Department Recognized at Ragan PR Awards

New York Awards Ceremony sees SMACNA gain honorable mentions for its website redesign, Project Spotlight and SMACNews.

SMACNA’s Marketing and Communications department earned three honorable mentions at the 2025 Ragan PR Daily Nonprofit Communications Awards. The ceremony, held at the Yale Club in New York City, celebrated the communicators and campaigns powering change in the nonprofit sector.

The luncheon recognized initiatives that raised awareness, inspired action, built communities, and advanced meaningful missions. Winners were announced live and honored for their creativity, commitment, and impact.

SMACNA was named a finalist in three categories, earning Honorable Mentions in all three. The nominations were:

  • Print Publication: January/February 2025 SMACNews
  • Video: Project Spotlight (Ottawa Public Library)
  • Website: SMACNA Website Redesign

Nominees and winners came from some of the most impactful non-profit organizations from across the United States, including AARP, the Alzheimer’s Association, the National 4-H Council, and the Smithsonian.
