National Careers In Trades Week recognized as a finalist in the Social Campaign Across Platforms Category
National Careers in Trades Week, SMACNA’s awareness campaign done in conjunction with SMART and the ITI, was recognized at the OMMA awards in New York City. National Careers in Trades Week, designed to encourage young adults to explore trade careers, increase enrollment at training centers, and provide support through resources, was among the finalists in the Social Campaign Across Platforms category.
With posts across Facebook, LinkedIn, and Instagram, the campaign helped guide interested young people toward a career in the industry. It was a success, resulting in 52,312 impressions/views and 759 engagements/ interactions with the content.
Now in their 21st year, the OMMA Awards honor the best in Online Media, Marketing, and Advertising with 58 categories across two sections: Excellence in Online Advertising and Excellence in Media & Marketing.
National Careers in Trades Week will be returning in 2026, with an expanded slate of partners including MCAA, NECA, NEMI, and SMOHIT.
