On November 20, 2025, the Belonging and Excellence for All (BE4ALL) Committee recognized veterans across the United States and Canada with an online learning journey. Led by SMART Assistant to the General President Darrell Roberts and featuring a panel of SMART leaders, a SMACNA contractor and a speaker from Helmets to Hardhats Canada, the event explored the experiences of veterans in the industry, plus how SMART is helping bridge the gap between military service and rewarding union careers.
