Greenheck Redesigns HVLS Overhead Fans Models DS-3 and DS-6 Offer Advanced Configurability and Simplified Installation

Greenheck has announced the redesign of its DS-3 three-bladed and DS-6 six-bladed High Volume Low Speed (HVLS) overhead fans, engineered to deliver significant performance advantages, best-in-class reliability, advanced configurability, and ease of installation for a wide range of applications.

The redesigned DS Series fans provide higher air performance up to 281,700 cfm, larger coverage areas, and increased cooling effects up to 15°F, helping to improve comfort and reduce energy costs. Engineered for superior efficiency, the DS-3 and DS-6 achieve Ceiling Fan Energy Index (CFEI) values up to 83% higher than the minimum DOE requirements. Each model is rated for a maximum operating temperature of 130°F/55°C and carries an industry-leading IP66 ingress protection rating, ensuring protection against dust and water in extreme conditions.

The DS-3 and DS-6 are compatible with the industry’s widest range of control options, including ModBus® RTU, BACnet® MSTP, 0-10VDC, and more, and are available with a variety of factory-programmed controllers, including economical 4-speed and multispeed analog controls. A factory-assembled power pack, along with additional time-saving features like plug-and-play wiring, cut installation time in half. A field-adjustable extension tube enables quick, easy adjustments to the fan’s drop length, while automated commissioning and diagnostic test modes simplify fan setup and operation.
