On February 5th, 2026, DEWALT, in partnership with SMACNA of Southern Nevada and Local 88 JATC hosted the first DEWALT TOUGHWIRE™ CABLE HANGER SYSTEM Event in Las Vegas, Nevada.

THE DEWALT TOUGHWIRE™ CABLE HANGER SYSTEM is a cable suspension solution catered to HVAC, sheet metal, electrical, and plumbing/pipe applications, combining wire assemblies, wire locking devices, components, and accessories. This new innovation enables fast, strong and easy installation.

This one-day gathering united project leaders and product experts for a look into DEWALT’s latest innovation and product offerings supporting the HVAC & mechanical trade. The showcase occurred on Local 88’s training campus where there was a mock-up on display offering participants a real-world look at installation and performance. Attendees had a chance to hear directly from a panel of subject matter experts, sharing first-hand experiences working with cable hinging products concluding with a Q&A session, creating interactive discussion amongst the group.

This event underscored the importance of education and collaboration. Through continued partnership, DEWALT, SMACNA of Southern Nevada, Local 88 JATC, and participating local contractors intend to help shape the future innovation and advancement of the mechanical trades.
