Getting paid on extra work means improving how construction teams track and move Change Orders through the approval process. Clearstory's February product updates are built around exactly that.

The new Ball-in-Court report shows sheet metal and HVAC contractors (as well as their GC customers) who currently has action on a Change Order Request (COR). Teams can quickly see where Change Orders are sitting, track outstanding dollar values, and identify bottlenecks that may be slowing approvals or delaying billing.
A new Clearstory integration with Sage Intacct Construction lets COR and project data sync directly between systems, cutting out manual re-entry and keeping project and accounting teams on the same page through approval and closeout.
Multi-domain support rounds out the updates and helps larger contractors route communication to the right projects automatically, making it easier for distributed teams to collaborate.
Purpose-built to help Specialty Contractors reduce risk and get paid faster on out-of-contract work, Clearstory’s core product is a shareable, cloud-based Change Order Log that creates instant alignment between stakeholders with powerful tools like a mobile app for digital T&M Tags, built-in Change Order templates, instant pricing, and more.
