BE4ALL Learning Journey: Building Partnerships: Indigenous Pathways into the Trades

June 22nd webinar shows how Canada’s distinct Indigenous voices can bring the vision of a city's construction projects to life.

Please join us on June 22nd for our latest Learning Journey, Building Partnerships: Indigenous Pathways into the Trades. For this installment, in celebration of Canada’s National Indigenous Peoples Day, we are bringing together speakers in Canada who represent both the Indigenous peoples and the trade leaders who recruit within those communities. We are learning how the distinct Indigenous voices can bring the vision of a city's construction projects to life without sacrificing cultural heritage, working conditions, workers’ empowerment, company expectations, and Indigenous stewardship over unceded land.

On the recruitment side, we will hear about innovative ways that Local 8, in partnership with Trade Winds to Success, has built trust and developed programming to appeal to local Indigenous youth. Join us to hear about these recruitment techniques, successes and challenges, and the strength of partnerships in building a workforce.
