On behalf of the SMACNA/SMART Best Practices Market Expansion Task Force, the International Training Institute (iTi) surveyed more than 3,273 industry apprentices to gather demographic information and ascertain how they learned about the sheet metal industry, their experiences in the industry, and their perceptions.
The Best Practices Task Force is using the information gained from the apprentice surveys to develop recruitment tools, programs, and strategies that can be used by labor and management groups at the local level. Recognizing the value of this data, an overview of the survey is now being shared with all chapter executives, volunteer leaders, and SMART Business Managers. Please see the memo from the Best Practices Co-Chairs and the survey overview below.
If you wish to receive a copy of the source data, please contact Sabrina Hendershot at shendershot@smacna.org.
