Vertical integration is a key part of Gripple’s manufacturing processes globally. We’re proud that we aren’t dependent on external suppliers, and that we make over 90% of our own parts and components ourselves. We even design and manufacture our own automated machinery.
As part of this, Gripple’s 22,000 sq.ft. plant in Hellaby, England produces the zinc housings for over 100 Gripple products used globally, and consumes over 2,000 tonnes of zinc per year (over 4 million pounds). In fact, this Gripple factory is the second largest zinc diecasting facility in the UK.
By doing our own diecasting in-house, we maintain full control over every component that goes into our solutions. From initial product design to production, this approach ensures quality, consistency, precision, and the performance our customers rely on.
