More Time to Reach the Top: Top Ten and Capitol Caucus Deadline Extended to October 1

Extension gives chapters additional time to improve their standing and earn recognition for their advocacy efforts.

Good news! The deadline for both the Top Ten and Capitol Caucus Recognition Programs has been extended to October 1, 2026, giving chapters additional time to improve their standing and earn recognition for their advocacy efforts.

SMACNA Southern California continues to lead the 2026 Top Ten standings, followed by SMACNA Oregon & Southwest Washington and SMACNA Metropolitan Detroit. With several chapters within striking distance of the Top Ten, the rankings remain highly competitive!

Chapters are also making impressive progress in the Capitol Caucus Recognition Program, which recognizes achievement based on chapter engagement and support for SMACNA advocacy initiatives. As of August 25, 16 chapters have achieved Platinum status, while five chapters have earned Gold recognition and three chapters have secured Silver status.
