Donors that want to be recognized on Convention signage should make their contributions as soon as possible, as signage and recognition materials will be printing October 1.

While the deadlines for the 2026 Top Ten and Capitol Caucus Recognition Programs have been extended through the final day of Convention, Wednesday, October 28, donors that want to be recognized on Convention signage should make their contributions as soon as possible. Recognition materials will be printed using standings and contribution totals as of October 1, so donations received after that date may not be reflected in Convention displays.
In the Top Ten, SMACNA Southern California holds the top spot, with SMACNA Oregon & SW Washington and SMACNA Metropolitan Detroit rounding out the top three. SMACNA Western Washington has recently moved up from the 7th to 5th place in the Top Ten with a recent contribution to the SMAC Administrative Fund! With the competition remaining open through October 28, there is still time to improve your chapter's standing. However, contributions received by October 1 will ensure your chapter's accomplishments are included on Convention recognition signage.
The Capitol Caucus Recognition Program is also gaining momentum. We now have 17 chapters at Platinum, five at Gold, and three at Silver. Congratulations to SMACNA San Diego for reaching Silver status!

And remember, your chapter can still add to its totals through the final day of Convention.
Supporting the SMAC Administrative Fund (SMAC-AF) is one important way to boost your chapter’s standings while investing in SMACNA's legislative, regulatory, and political affairs efforts. Chapters can contribute online, contribution form, or by calling our office at 202-547-8202! Reserving tables for the Convention Monday Keynote and/or Wednesday President's Lunch is another great way to help your chapter reach – or stay! - on the leader board!
Want your chapter recognized on Convention signage? Be sure to submit your contributions by October 1. Contributions received after that date will still count toward final standings and awards, but may not be reflected in printed recognition materials.
October 1 will be here before we know it. Check the standings, see what your chapter needs and make these final weeks count!
