SMACPAC Ambassadors Making A Difference Before the Midterms

SMACPAC Ambassadors continued advancing our association and industry by building strong relationships with legislators from both sides of the aisle. With the midterm elections quickly approaching, our members had more opportunities than ever to discuss the critical issues that matter to SMACNA contractors.

Rep Luz Rivas (D-CA) is the president of the House freshman class and the former Los Angeles County Director of Public Works. The Congresswoman has strongly supported all of our issues in both her federal and county-level service. Kristine Hammond, Carmen Koo, and Gina Medel joined her.

SMACPAC Pacesetter John Contrubis, CEO of SMACNA’s New York City Chapter, and Michael McCusker, Owner of D&G Sheet Metal, joined Congressman Joe Morelle (D-NY) and special guest New York Governor Kathy Hochul.

Dominic Bonitatis and Peter Jenkins join Congressman Brian Fitzpatrick (R-PA) at an event at Philadelphia’s Union League Club headlined by House Speaker Mike Johnson.
