Exposed spiral ducts are a defining feature of many modern interiors, but standard grilles built for flat ductwork rarely integrate cleanly with round or spiral duct runs without costly transitions.

Price Industries’ Spiral Duct Grilles are designed to mount directly onto round or spiral ducts, eliminating the need for field-fabricated transitions while preserving the clean architectural line of the duct itself.
Available in steel, aluminum, galvanized steel and extruded aluminum, the Spiral Duct Grille line covers both supply and return applications. Supply models offer single-deflection (SDGE) or double-deflection (SDG/SDGE) blade arrangements with individually adjustable blades for directing airflow to meet space heating or cooling needs and return models (SDGR/SDGER) feature a perforated screen with 51% free area. The SDGE, the extruded-aluminum model, is curved to match the duct radius and is available with a clear anodized finish, giving designers a grille that looks like a natural extension of the duct rather than an add-on.
The unique design of these grilles allows for both quick installation and a tight, reliable seal. Countersunk holes on the grille frame enable quick mounting, while an open-cell foam gasket at the neck and a closed-cell foam end gasket conform to the duct diameter to minimize leakage between the grille and the duct. For applications requiring greater volume control, an optional adjustable air scoop directs airflow from the duct through the grille, and an opposed-blade damper option is also available. Performance data is published across the full range of core sizes, giving engineers documented throw, sound (NC) and pressure drop values to specify with confidence rather than relying on field mock-ups.
