Guy Gast spent 25 years as President of the Waldinger Corporation, retiring in 2021 with nearly 800 construction and service professional partners. He served nine years on the SMACNA board and in the executive chairs, and as SMACNA's President from 2015-2016.

Guy Gast

Guy Gast is the retired past President of The Waldinger Corporation - Iowa Division. The Waldinger Corporation employs over 2000 construction and service professionals in the Midwest and is a premier MEP and truck-based service provider. 

From 2015-2016, he served nationally as President of SMACNA. For over a decade, he has been both a contributor to and Chair of the New Horizons Foundation. He chaired the 2022 Futures Study Task Force. In December 2020, SMACNA honored him as the 2020 Contractor of the Year award recipient.
