SMACNA’s Political Action Committee is experiencing unprecedented momentum. Thanks to the support of our members and the rollout of a new aggressive strategic plan, SMACPAC grew by 23% last year — the strongest growth in its history.

With engagement continuing to rise with members nationwide, SMACNA expects even greater gains by the end of 2025.

A strong PAC amplifies SMACNA’s voice during crucial policy debates affecting workforce development, tax policy, federal procurement, energy incentives, and infrastructure investment.

How Members Can Get Involved

1. Complete a Prior Authorization Form

Federal law requires all member companies to complete a Prior Authorization form before SMACPAC can solicit contributions.

2. Join a Congressional Insider Club Level

Members who join Insider Club levels gain access to enhanced briefings and deeper engagement opportunities.

3. Contribute at Any Level

Whether monthly or one-time, every contribution strengthens SMACNA’s advocacy efforts on Capitol Hill.

Why SMACPAC Matters Now More Than Ever

A strong PAC allows SMACNA to:

  • Support lawmakers who champion fair competition
  • Advocate for robust investment in public buildings and energy upgrades
  • Protect project labor agreements, apprenticeship, and labor standards essential to maintaining a high-quality workforce
  • Push back against proposals that undermine the union construction market

As the policy environment continues to shift, SMACPAC is a crucial tool that ensures SMACNA contractors have a strong, unified voice in Washington. If you have any questions about SMACPAC, please get in touch with Denise Murphy McGraw
