NHF Report: Exec. Order Impact on Federal Contractors

New Horizons Foundation has created a new report for SMACNA members that covers the impact of President Biden’s Executive Order on ensuring adequate COVID safety protocols for federal contractors. This extensive order requires all contractors working on federally funded projects valued at over $250,000 to comply with all guidelines provided by the Safer Federal Workforce Task Force (SFWTF).

OSHA Delays Enforcement of ETS Rule

On November 17, 2021, the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) published on its website that, in accordance with the order from the Fifth Circuit, it has “suspended” all enforcement activities with respect to the Emergency Temporary Standard (ETS) relating to COVID-19 Vaccination and Testing.
