Susannah Forde Joins SMACNA

SMACNA’s new Executive Director of Marketing and Communications brings over 25 years of experience to the role.

Susannah Forde has joined SMACNA as its new Executive Director of Marketing and Communications. She has a robust resume highlighted by over 25 years working within the space, developing award-winning campaigns for Fortune 500 clients throughout multiple industries. 

Earlier in her career, Susannah served as a Vice President with Ogilvy Public Relations Worldwide, working with national and international corporate brands, nonprofits, and associations. Prior to that, she led the marketing team at MXM, the digital arm of Meredith Corporation, as a Group Account Director. Over the span of her career, her client roster has included some of the nation's most recognizable brands, including DuPont, Hallmark, Lowe's, Aquaphor, Woolite, and Samsung.
 
Susannah holds a BA degree in communications from the Pennsylvania State University, where her studies focused on public relations, broadcast media, and journalism. While there, she was a varsity athlete on full scholarship for the Penn State Nittany Lions' softball team. Susannah was also honored to serve as the captain of Great Britain's Olympic Softball team.
