SMACNA's Contractors Operations Committee seeks your involvement in a research study to create a paper titled "Enhancing BIM Scheduling Practices for MEP Contractors."
This is a brief yet comprehensive survey of current industry practices regarding MEP coordination and the use of Building Information Modeling (BIM).
Before engaging with general contractors, engineers, and other external stakeholders, we want to present them with a data-backed report on the impact and ideas generated from this survey.
If you are actively or passively involved in the MEP coordination process for your company, please take a few minutes to answer a few questions about each scope of work you perform. Your input will help us understand the current state better and advocate for necessary changes. This study should only take 3 minutes to complete, less if you do not engage in BIM, which we would also like to know.
