New Horizons Foundation

New Horizons Foundation is the knowledge link for industry members, suppliers, contracting industry partners, colleges and universities, other national and international trade associations, and customers. NHF continuously works to create a state of the art work environment populated with effective managers, qualified supervisors, and skilled workers by building key relationships with allied industry partners and academic institutions, providing education and information that will position HVAC and sheet metal contractors as positive, knowledgeable, participants in the construction process, and encourage career participation in the HVAC and sheet metal industry.

Membership

Our members specialize in the tough, complex jobs in each market sector. Primary contractors, architects, and property owners frequently define the quality of our members’ work by referencing their timely delivery, ability to get a project right the first time, strong communication, and highly-skilled workmanship.

Committees and Task Forces

Industrial Duct Construction Standards

SMACNA 2024 Innovator of the Year

The SMACNA Innovator of the Year is awarded to an industry pioneer from a SMACNA member contractor who champions innovation and continuous improvement across their company and the industry. The winner will be recognized at the annual MEP Innovation Conference hosted by SMACNA, NECA, and MCAA on January 29-31, 2024, at Hilton Orlando Bonnet Creek, Florida.

SMACNA recently spoke with Sellers about some of SMART’s latest developments. Adapting to rapidly evolving technological advancements and improving workforce forecasting techniques are among the union’s top objectives at the moment.
